AutoCAD Plant 3D Essentials course
Course description
In this essentials course for AutoCAD Plant 3D we will teach you how to use this new software solution in your daily work making plant designs, upgrades or expansions at your site. During the course all necessary modules will be taken care of and each trainee will make several exercises behind a training system to test the skills needed to work with the software.
Basic Knowledge
The course will take three days assuming that the trainee has sufficient skills and knowledge of external references and the AutoCAD 3D environment. If the trainee has a lack of knowledge in the subjects mentioned than we advise to follow our AutoCAD for engineers course first. In this course all the necessary subjects and skills will be taught to make sure that the trainee can follow the AutoCAD Plant 3D essentials training.
Course content
In this course we will cover all modules so that the user will be able to use AutoCAD Plant 3D in his or her daily work making designs and engineering work in AutoCAD Plant 3D. De subject that will be dealt with are;

● Introduction to AutoCAD Plant 3D |
● Basic Introduction to the Spec Generator |

● The 'User Interface' |
● Routing 3D Pipes |
|
● Creating a project |
● Modifying and changing 3D models (Structures, Equipment & Pipes) |
|
● The Structural Modeler |
● Creating Orthographic drawings |
|
● The Equipment Builder |
● Generating reports |
|
● Creating an General Arrangement |
● Creating Isometric drawings with ISOGEN |
Each module will be ended with several exercises so that you also will obtain practical skills in using AutoCAD Plant 3D, at the end of the course you will have built an entire model by using all the modules present in AutoCAD Plant 3D.
