CADTEAM to develop courseware AutoCAD P&ID 2010
Autodesk has asked CADTEAM to develop the official courseware for AutoCAD P&ID 2010. CADTEAM was also responsible for the development of the official courseware for AutoCAD P&ID 2009. The official courseware will be distributed to all authorized training centers (ATC’s) worldwide. Currently there are approximate 48 resellers/ATC’s that are authorized to deliver AutoCAD P&ID courses, most of these authorized training centers are involved with selling, implementing and training customers in AutoCAD P&ID.
Again 2 books will be developed, first of all the Essentials which can be used to educate starting users and also the Advanced for more experienced users or system administrators who have to configure new projects or modify existing projects. Both books will be in English and are equipped with clear and easy to understand screenshots combined with exercises that complement the explanation in the books.
The author, Barend-Jan (BJ) van Zijtveld, is an employee of CADTEAM and works as a Senior Application Engineer Plant Solutions. He has more than 20 years of working experience with several CAD solutions created by Autodesk. During his career BJ worked for several years in the process industry and is skilled in designing oil and fuel systems for gas turbines, as a constructor and as an engineer as well.
The objective is that both books will be ready when AutoCAD P&ID 2010 is released. The expectation is that AutoCAD P&ID 2010 will be released in April 2009; users with a subscription contract will receive the new release automatically. In the coming months we will update you regularly with the latest news of this new release of AutoCAD P&ID, so keep your eyes on our website for the latest update.
